Autumn/Winter 2022

New inspirations, creative looks and extraordinary qualities - all of this awaits us in the coming selling period. Anyone who believes that fashion inevitably repeats itself is right, but also wrong. Because the nuances and subtleties that are shot and worked on with creative sensitivity are decisive, so that autumn / winter has all sorts of new things in store with already known influences.

Trends

We express the variety of trends in each of our themes for the coming selling period. In addition to expressionist 90's glam, cargo couture is one of the main themes. With the trend colour khaki we are reviving the military chic. Remarkable accents such as patches or golden chains make a statement, cargo elements, nylon and button details are also increasingly used. The result: looks that exude a touch of couture. In general, the silhouette becomes more angular, which means that we look for optionally accentuated shoulders, an accentuated waist or special sleeves. At the same time it becomes more slim fit/narrower and thus more feminine, a little sexy, but always stylish.

Key Pieces

Sweat, sweat, sweat. This trend remains, but it has definitely evolved: style and comfort are blended, blurring the lines between formal and less formal attire. Sweat is becoming more glamours. No wonder that sweat-wear is crowned to the key piece of the season. New is the feminine interpretation of a sweat suit, the silhouette which is narrower and therefore almost elegant.

Details

The step-by-step plan for autumn: tank tops remain and get a new and overlapped shape. In general, however, it becomes more slim fit again. Oversized will certainly remain an issue in certain sectors, such as capes and knitted covers, but no longer has such a high priority. The cuts are becoming narrower and more sophisticated and therefore more feminine. Oversized cuts appear as companions or cool opponents for slim-fit silhouettes. Edgy outfits for strong women are adorned with patch pockets, button details, embellishments or special prints.

Colours

Colours are coming and getting louder - also for us. A harmonious interplay of colours and the targeted use of a colour are still important for each theme. New nuances such as a rocky violet, expressive fire, expressive pink, steel blue and a warm yellow tone are remarkable and add more than strong accents to our collections. The trend colour khaki does not leave us unaffected either, but it comes with a tonal companion. In combination with black or

white, the monari style remains unchanged. Neutral tones and pastels are also an important theme at monari: shades of pink and the non-colour trend of cream and beige tones are still very important and come in new, slightly darkened nuances.
